Importance of Macrophytic Plants in Lake "Karateren"

The article is devoted to the study of the role of macrophyte plants in the ecosystem of Lake "Karateren". The work considers the types of macrophytes, their biocenoses and ecosystem functions, such as maintaining water balance, impact on the chemical composition of water, as well as the role in the biological diversity of the lake. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of macrophytes with other components of the ecosystem, including aquatic animals and microorganisms.
