Significance of the review of court judgments for achievement of the criminal procedure assignment

The article considers an assignment of criminal procedure in general and a review of court judgments. The author substantiates an approach, according to which the review of court judgments is the only possible method of protection and redress of violated or illegally limited rights and freedoms of the criminal procedure parties after returning a verdict by the court of the first instance.
