The number of Rh-sensibilized women in Russia reaches 1,2% and has no tendency to decrease. It is connected with bad prevention of Rh-sensitization by injection anti-D antibodies to Rh-negative pregnant women for the 28th weeks of pregnancy and within 72 hours after the delivery. Injection this expensive drug is necessary only for Rh-negative women, whose fetus has Rh-positive. Diagnostics of Rhesus factor of a fetus earlier caused troubles and was possible from 20th week of pregnancy by amniocentesis or cordocentesis. This procedure is dangerous both to mother, and for a fetus. Thanks to a new innovative method of noninvasive prenatal diagnostics of Rhesus factor of a fetus by motherʼs blood will manage to improve quality of medical care of Rh-negative pregnant women in modern ecological conditions and to reduce percent of Rhesus factor-sensibilized women.
