The meaning of (re)interpretation of museum objects as subjects of material culture in the development of intercultural communication

The article discusses the beings of museums as means of communication and approaches the roles of museum objects on display in their (re)interpretation in process of information exchange with museum visitors. In the article we characterize the museum objects and their (re)interpretation as samples of the material culture and as systems of thoughts, values, experiences and knowledge of different cultures that are very important for formation of the collective, historical, social and national memories in our lives and are also significant for personal identification in the society. Based on the review of bibliographical sources and the results of the pilot project that was done during the realization of the master’s dissertation, the author aims to show the importance of including different educational practices with museum objects into the process of professional preparation of diplomats? Translators and interpreters, teachers of foreign languages - specialists who interact and cooperate with representatives of other cultures.
