In the article the author examines the concept of “property” as the legal and economic category, and considers the impact of the economic essence of an ownership in the legal nature of property rights. The main idea of this article is a reflection of the importance of the economic entity property in development of society and individual and the need for the legal consolidation of the status of an owner in respect of his property.
