The purpose of this study was to evaluate Hemoglobin level significance in older age children with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). Hemoglobin content was measured in 35 children older than 3 years old with CAP in multicenter children hospital of Andijan region (Uzbekistan). Diagnosis of CAP was confirmed by X-ray studies. Mean Hb level was 82.51 g/l, minimum 68 and maximum 100 g/l respectively (standard deviation - 7.265, CI - 95%) (table 1). Age of patients or severity CAP was not predictive for Hb levels, and Hb content was not significant trigger for hospital days.
