The significance of the Tupalang reservoir in the socio-economic development of the Surkhandarya region of the Republic of Uzbekistan

This article highlights the role of water resources in the socio-economic development of the Surkhandarya region, located in the southernmost part of Uzbekistan, focuses on the Tupalang reservoir, built in the northeastern part of the region, and its role in providing the population with clean drinking water in agricultural production, in power supply, and dam safety.
