Significant others in the course of secondary socialisation (communication aspect)

The article is devoted to interpretation and further development of the idea of secondary socialisation presented by P. Berger and T. Luckmann in the book “The Social Construction of Reality". Basing upon the researchers' conception, the author expands it offering to consider more closely such a factor of the secondary socialisation process as significant others. The study takes into account the changed social conditions, namely, the framework of the information society, where mass media and Internet play dominant role in the process of socialisation.
