The paper presents the methodology and results of zoning the European Russian taiga zone according to forest management regimes depending on the integrated forest accessibility. The integrated forest accessibility is an indicator that combines the forest road density, soil features, and the potential productivity of forest stands. This study included updating the road network within the constituent entities of the Russian Federation using satellite imagery from both Russian and international satellites. Thematic maps-schemes of study area zoning according to forest accessibility and forest management regimes were designed. The study is of great importance for the forestry planning and management systems, implementation of the concept of intensification forest use and reproduction in particular.
