The article is devoted to the examination of one category of Neolithic and Eneolithic artworks from the steppe and forest-steppe area of Eastern Europe. The examined collection of small-scale zoomorphic sculpture allows to speak about the existence of traditions and close culture links among Eastern Europe cultures. Typical images, material and manner of using (amulets, pendants) reflect similarity of religious beliefs in this region. Thereby, the works of art help to reconstruct both the process of the development of creative arts and birth of religious cults common for steppe and forest-steppe area of Eastern Europe.
