Sounding mass media in the system of linguistic consciousness of modern society: aspects of verbal activity of mass media works and their influence on mass consciousness

The article considers the development of linguistic consciousness as part of public conscience from the point of view of social and philosophical positions. The main emphasis has been put on the study of linguistic forms of sounding mass media and their application in various works of mass culture. The analysis of consequences and results of their influence on mass consciousness during the last 20 years has been performed.
