131st guards rifle regiment during operation "Iskra" in historical literature

The fighting at the Nevsky Pyatachok played an important role during operation Iskra. İt was one of the places where the Leningrad Front divisions were advancing and where they took the main blow from the enemy army. This strategy allowed the rest of the divisions to develop an offensive and connect with the Volkhov Front. This article presents the literature containing references about the fighting of the 131st Guards Rifle Regiment, and its analysis. It was concluded that the books mentioned in the article became important sources in the further memorialization of the battle at Nevsky Pyatachok.
