The long-term study of the present problem of historical science, undoubtedly, should have its continuation. This article by the authors is devoted to the little-studied history of Russian Bulgarians living on the territory of the Crimean ASSR in the 1940s and subsequent times, especially the process associated with the forced relocation of an ethnic community from the peninsula and certain nearby regions of Ukraine. Although by now the thesis has been defended, several articles have been published. Nevertheless, the topic attracts the attention of scientists. The proposed article pays more attention to the analysis of the state of the study of the topic, the stages of definition and general conclusions.
