3D simulation of step-by-step erection of containment dam of liquid mining wastes accumulator

The results of computer multivariate parametric 3D simulation of step-by-step erection of liquid mining wastes accumulator enclosing dam are presented. Based on the results of the calculations, pictures (color palettes) were obtained, reflecting changes in the hydrogeomechanical state of the waste accumulator. A comprehensive analysis of simulation results was carried out, aimed at identifying general dependencies and trends caused by the step-by-step expansion of the dam. Common regularities of change of general, vertical and horizontal movements of soils during building-up of the enclosing dam, for which mathematical expressions and graphical trends are defined, have been revealed.
