The article analyzes the main milestones in the history of the formation and development of one of the oldest regional periodicals on the problems of the history of the Slavs - the Slavic Collection, published on the base of Saratov University since 1972. This work summarizes the intermediate results of the activities of the Saratov Slavists and sets them tasks for the future.
