The absolute inviolability of nature reserves - a dream that has not come true

The article briefly discusses the evolution of the activity of nature reserves in Russia from the last century to the present. A departure from the concepts of the classics of conservation in connection with the development of tourism is shown. The hope for a return to the roots is expressed, as negative changes in nature are manifested more and more. Examples of adverse changes are given.
