Abu ala Maudoudi and the Islamic party of Jama`ti Islami

This work is dedicated to the outstanding Muslim theologian and thinker - Abu Ala Maududi and the party he created, Jam'ati Islami. The author considers his journalistic and political activities. The main ideas put forward by the party Jam'ati Islami are presented, as well as its role in the political activities of India and Pakistan. The concept of the Caliphate and Jihad presented in the writings of Abu Ala Maududi is described.
