Adaptation of the civil servants in the field of professional activity

The article deals with the system of adaptation of civil servants as one of the basic HR technologies. Conducted characterization of this system revealed a number of difficulties preventing the effective application of its methods, in particular, the mechanism of mentoring. The application of the criteria suggested in the article contributes to the improvement of mentoring in the civil service.
