Бесплатный доступ

The adaptive features of thoroughbred horse breeds of two main lines - Northern Dancer and Native Dancer in different zones of the Republic of Tatarstan have been studied. The horses of the Native Dancer line adapted better to the conditions of the republic, but the performance of the resulting young animals differed significantly depending on the breeding zone. The young horses obtained from mares of the Northern Dancer line better performed in the southern Zakamsky breeding zone, and the Native Dancer line in the northwest zone. The results obtained allow us to recommend to owners of horses to pay attention to their linear affiliation when buying and raising them.
