Adaptation of disabled convicts to imprisonment conditions: statement of a problem

The article actualizes the scientific problem of adaptation of disabled convicts to imprisonment conditions, describes its crudity in the scientific literature and the need in studying the problem for experts. The article also considers the contexts of the understanding of the term adaptation in different fields of science. The purpose of this article is to focus attention on the problems of disabled convicts. This is caused by the modern social policy of the state aimed at creating an accessible environment for the disabled. For the first time the article substantiates the factors complicating the process of adaptation of the considered category of convicts sentenced to imprisonment.
