The adaptation of educational migrants from China and Mongolia within the framework of the Russian system of education (illustrated on the example of the Buryat Republic)

This article describes the results of the research work, the purpose of which was to study the problems of educational migration experience of students from China and Mongolia, receiving higher education in the Republic of Buryatia. The paper deals with identification of the key trends and issues in the field of educational migration, requiring the development of effective socio-cultural adaptation programs of educational migrants in the Republic. When providing opportunities for successful adaptation of educational migrants to new social relations, the learning process and the language environment are considered as the main precondition for attracting foreign students into the Republic and Russia in general.
