Adaptive physical education

In Russia, the greatest experience in the use of means and methods of physical culture has been accumulated in working with people with health problems, including people with disabilities, in the therapeutic and pedagogical fields (especially in special education), which leads to a shift in the emphasis of the problems of this social practice in these areas. Therefore, adaptive physical education is very often interpreted as part of therapeutic physical education or reduced to adaptive physical education only in special educational institutions.
