The article deals with the methods of revealing the adequacy of the translation of G. Trakl's color concepts. A new method of revealing the characteristics of colour concepts of the writer in question is offered. On basis of the comparison of color concepts' in the original and in translation we judge about the adequacy of the translation of G. TrakPs poetry.
