Administrative and legal regulation in the sphere of consumer protection in the Russian Federation

Improving the forms and methods of public administration in the field of consumer protection in order to create a coherent system of state guarantees of the rights and legitimate interests of consumers is a priority task for the Russian Federation as a legal state. The priority of human rights and freedoms is enshrined in article 2 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, according to which the recognition, observance and protection of these rights are the responsibility of the state. The presented research is aimed at defining and systematizing the principles of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of consumers, identifying gaps in the legislation regulating legal relations with their participation, as well as shortcomings in law enforcement practice.
