Administrative supervision as a kind of state administration in police activities

The subject of the study is the organization and legal regulation of administrative and supervisory activities of the police to ensure public order. The purpose of the study is to study the organizational and legal issues of the administrative and supervisory activities of the police in the field of public order and formulate on its basis proposals for improving legal regulation and practice of exercising supervisory powers of the police. The study used the methods of structural-functional and statistical analysis, as well as traditional legal methods, such as theoretical and legal, historical legal, comparative legal and others. The study examines the goals and objectives of administrative supervision, discloses the terms “crime prevention” and “crime prevention”, defines the place of administrative supervision in the structure of the police functions with their description, also touches on the methods of administrative supervision and the characteristics of the bodies that carry it out. Based on the results of the study, conclusions and proposals are formulated to improve the legal regulation and practice of exercising supervisory powers of the police.
