The bar of the Republic of Belarus: state, problems and ways of development

The purpose of the paper is to show the state of the institution of advocacy in the Republic of Belarus, based on the analysis of the Law «On Advocacy and Advocate profession in the Republic of Belarus» of 30 December 2011 (as amended). In preparing the article the formal-legal and comparative-legal methods of scientific research were used. The article examines the process of development of the Bar in the Republic of Belarus and makes proposals for improving the legislation and optimising the work of the Bar.
