Afghanistan between world power: duality of H. Amin in relations with the USSR and the USA

The article, based on the available Soviet (Russian) and foreign literature and sources, tells about pages of the history of relations between the USA and Afghanistan that are little-known in Russia. The article concludes that cooperation between the USSR and Afghanistan. Relations between the US and Afghanistan remained cold, despite attempts by the PDPA Secretary General H. Amin to come closer.
