African American migrants as a driver of regional and international development of the USA

On the basis of original information sources - the US Census Bureau, as well as a number of foreign publications, the author analyses the history and the modern aspects of migration from various African countries to the United States. The article describes the background of migration and the main programs as a part of which African migrants enter the USA. In addition, the list of countries serving as key sources of modern African American migrants is given. Basing on the factual numerical data, the author makes the conclusion on the significant contribution of migrants to the economic development of the United States, both at the regional and international levels.
