Agrarian history of Northeast China (Manchuria) in new and modern times: modernization, stages and results

The study of the historical experience of agrarian transformations in the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China is the most relevant area of research of Chinese and Russian agricultural specialists. The article analyzes the problem of modernization of the agricultural complex of Northeast China (Manchuria) in the context of the transformation of traditional agrarian structures and rural society of the region over a long historical period - from the middle of the XVII century to the present. In the history of modernization of the agricultural sector of the NEC, the author identifies seven main typological stages, each of which focuses on the study of dominant factors that contributed to modernization processes in the agricultural sector and determine the formation of new phenomena and the specifics of rural society in the region. In comparative chronological terms, the analysis of the preliminary results of the agrarian transformation of the region is given.
