Agro-geographical analysis of economic entities owned by the population of the Republic of Buryatia

An analysis is made of the special features of land use, and of the economic activities of the socio-economic set-ups of the agrarian sector in the Republic of Buryatia. The study revealed zones of declining agroproduction potential, and zones of “conservation” of agricultural space. Tendencies and main geographical differences between agricultural households of the population as an important phenomenon of contemporaiy agriculture have been uncovered. The methodical approaches to the study of territorial and socio-economic structure of this mode, playing a leading role in agricultural production were offered on the example of households in the Republic of Buijatia. The management peculiarities were analyzed in the modem socio-economic conditions: marketability, diversification of household income of the population, importance of personal similar subsistenz economy was investigated as source of natural and currency incomes.
