Agrochemical research at Omsk State Agrarian University (towards the 95th anniversary of the foundation of the department of agrochemistry)

The article examines the history and the main scientific achievements of the Department of Agrochemistry of Omsk State Agrarian University over 95 years of research and its impact on the development of agrochemical science in Siberia and Russia. It nominates the scientists who have made a significant scientific contribution. The article describes the main scientific directions, the results of which are of significant importance for theory and practice. Over many years of scientific and educational activities several generations of employees of the Department have researched many theoretical and practical aspects of soil fertility management and crop nutrition.
