Yu. H. Akchurin''s political activity during the first Russian Revolution

The article examines the political activity of Yu. H. Akchurin during the revolution of 1905-1907. It describes his participation in the activity of "Ittifaq-al muslimin", Constitutional Democratic Party. It also notes the role of the Tatar Liberals in creating the socio-political Muslim Union. The analysis of the socio-political views of Yu. H. Akchurin shows that he primarily represented the interests of the Muslim peoples of Russia. The entry of Yu. H. Akchurin to the Constitutional Demokrat party and his call to support are seen as a necessity of upholding national interests under the difficult socio-political situation.
