An engineering method is proposed for assessing the aerodynamic effect of a disturbed atmosphere on an aircraft. As a source of vortex structures, vortex wind wakes arising when the atmospheric boundary layer flows around the landscape or superstructures of a moving aircraft carrier, vortex wakes behind aircraft, etc. can be considered. The article deals with the situation of a light transport aircraft getting into a vortex wake behind an aircraft Su-27.
