Axiological determinants of volunteerism

In the conditions of dynamic development of society, development of the Institute of civil society, the necessity of understanding the nature of contradictory social phenomena, processes of modern Russia, naturally entailing the need for modernization of social management of the behavior of diverse communities, actively involved in them social groups, was actualized. Volunteerism can be considered as one of these social processes, which have become widespread and dynamic. In this article, the authors analyze the phenomenon of volunteerism from the perspective of axiological approach, which involves considering it as a meaningful readiness of the subject to the execution of voluntary gratuitous act of assistance in the name of high humanistic ideals, respect for the history and culture of peoples, a high level of moral, social and legal responsibility, knowledge and respect for traditions and cultural values.
