The prospects for the formation and development of the scientific and educational sovereignty of Russia are considered on the example of foreign language vocational education in situation of exit from the Bologna system. The provisions of the modern language educational policy are highlighted, which marked changes in the value-target settings of the foreign language training of future specialists. Such scientifically based areas as the axiology of foreign language education and professional linguodidactics are defined as axiological strategies for reforming the system of foreign language professional education.
