Axiological approach to the study of poetry book: ontological values in book “The Alien Sky” by Nikolay Gumilev

The paper focuses on the analysis of value structure of Nikolay Gumilev’s book of poetry “The Alien Sky”, where ontological values are central. Combining motif analysis with axiological approach we come to the conclusion that the motif of moving fulfils main axiological function in the book. The category of moving, the actant of companion and the place of destination are elements of actual motif structure and also basic ontological values in the book.
