Axiological interpretation of the concept "marriage" in Kalmyk, Russian and English literary discourse

The figurative and evaluative characteristics of the linguistic-cultural concept “marriage” are described on the basis of the material of art works of the Kalmyk, Russian and English languages. It is shown that this concept in art discourse has various psychological, sociological and national-cultural specifics. Both positive and negative connotations of the artistic understanding of marriage are noted at the same time.
