Chloroplast enzymes activity and metabolites content in leaves of chlorophyll mutants of Pisum sativum L. and their hybrids

The authors evaluated the chloroplast enzymes activity and metabolites content in leaves of the chlorophyll mutants M-2004 and M-2014 of Pisum sativum L. of the Torsdag variety and also in leaves of their hybrids with original form. The leading role of the GAPH-dehydrogenase in heterosis effect in pea hybrid plants was shown. It was suggested, that respiration enzymes utilized more active the carbohydrates, which are synthesized during photosynthesis.
