In vitro activity of antimycotics against yeast fungi, which cause opportunistic mycoses

Бесплатный доступ

We established and analyzed levels of susceptibility to modern antimycotics for clinical strains of yeast opportunistic fungi of the families: Candida (5 species), Cryptococcus (1 species) and Saccharomyces (1 species). Susceptibility testing revealed high activity of echinocandins (anidulafungin, caspofungin, micafungin), amphotericin B and voriconazole against causative agents of candidosis in HIV-infected patients. It was shown that MIC ranges of fluconazole and itraconazole vary for different Candida species. Echinocandins was inactive against causative agents of cryptococcosis Cryptococcus neoformans.
