Activity of inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis in conditions of comor-bid infections

Бесплатный доступ

Changes of acute-phase reactants, some types of cytokines, and neopterin in rheumatoid arthritis with comorbid infections were studied. Sanitation of the infectious focus was followed by the significant decrease in concentration of some acute-phase reactants and neopterin in serum. Comorbid infections induce superfluous cytokines and acute-phase reactants production in rheumatoid arthritis patient, thus influencing inflammation activity and stimulating development of the disease complications.
