Active and passive vocabulary of the Russian language of the first decade of the XXI century: dynamic processes

The article deals with the peculiarities of the dynamic processes in the spheres of the active and passive vocabularies of the Russian language at the present time. There is emphasized that the fast-moving pace of life of the society, that is specific for the present days, determine the speed of the diffusion processes in the sphere of the active and passive vocabularies and activate the processes of the movement of the lexical units from one sphere to the other.
