Actuality of ideas V. I. Vernadsky

The article considers the importance of V. I. Vernadsky's ideas in the life of modern society. The analysis of the scientist's works on the biosphere and noosphere of the Earth and their impact on the environment. The authors found that the continued existence of mankind and life on Earth depends on the human desire to increase knowledge to establish proper contact with nature and with other people.
