The relevance of the event ontology

The article deals with the current state of the ontological knowledge. The analysis of the contemporary literature on the subject shows that the so-called event ontology is a special form and a new stage of the ontology development. The ideas of event-ontology were expressed in M. Heidegger’s late works, that’s how it became an object of reception, criticism and debate in the contemporary philosophy.
