The relevance of improving the legal regulation of military service by foreigners in Russia

This article analyzes the legal regulation of the passage of military service by foreign citizens in the Russian Federation. The normative legal acts regulating the admission and passage of military service by foreigners in the Russian Federation have been studied. In the process of comparing regulatory prescriptions, contradictory provisions on the replacement of military positions by foreign citizens were revealed. The current measures to stimulate the admission of foreign persons to military service are considered, as well as proposals are put forward for the transformation of legislation in terms of admission to service.
