Actual aspects of design activity in the communication space of visual identity of modern Russian educational journals

The article presents an analysis of the visual identity of educational online journals as a tool for creating effective communication between the authors of educational content and readers, implemented through the prism of design activity as a cultural practice. The text attempts to understand the content of visual identity design in general and visual identity of educational communication in particular. The author examines the actual representations of the design project of an educational online magazine, implemented in the process of creating a design product in the context of digital communication, using the example of several periodicals. It is concluded that visual identity as a communication tool focused on the social needs of modern society, allows you to influence the quality of perception of content and evaluation of the information offered, and also contributes to improving the effectiveness of interaction in the conditions of digitalization of culture as a whole.
