Up-to-date channels of informal cybersocialization of learning youth

The article examines the results of a sociological study conducted by the Center for Monitoring Social Networks (Chelyabinsk Institute of the Vocational Education Development) in 2021 among students of general education and professional educational organizations of the Chelyabinsk region. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of media information literacy among students in the Chelyabinsk region through the study of the most popular virtual practices among young people. An important direction of the study was the identification of informal channels of cyber socialization of students, including through the analysis of popular instant messengers, social networks, subscriptions to top bloggers and the level of students’ trust in them. The material contains statistical data describing the main trends affecting the formation of media information literacy, as well as current tools for cyber socialization of students in the Chelyabinsk region.
