This article discusses the issue of various approaches to increasing the profitability of the hotel. The main tools for managing the profitability of the hotel include such as: room availability management. The author identifies four main tools. Firstly, the restriction of sales in channels on dates of high demand in favor of direct sales on the hotel’s website. Secondly, regular market analysis and updating of offers. To properly, manage the availability and pricing policy of the hotel, it is necessary to rely on performance indicators and market analytics. Based on the daily reports, it can be, concluded how the market reacts, whether the average price is growing, and in which periods it is growing faster. Based on the data obtained, a decision is, made in which periods the price can be, raised. Thirdly, the use of a loyalty program, which helps to increase direct sales and does not require significant investments in advertising and promotion. The fourth tool is to promote your own website, which is a strategic step to increase the profitability of the hotel. To do this, you should conduct a site usability analysis, the purpose of which is to make the site as comfortable as possible so that users can easily find the information they need or perform targeted actions. The website should personalize children’s services. If the guest indicates children when booking, their age should, immediately be offered services for children. To offer the guest the opportunity to book several rooms with moving from room to room, if there is no one available room for the entire period of stay, the so-called “Room-to-room accommodation”.
