The article is devoted to the analysis of administrative and criminal liability for failure to fulfill the duties of raising minors in Russian legislation. The norms of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Article 5.35) and the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Article 156), as well as their gaps, including the lack of responsibility for repeated violations under Part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, are considered.
