The article examines the current problems and development prospects of sports management in modern Russia. Special attention is paid to issues of personnel training, financing, digital transformation, and the implementation of international management standards. The directions for improving the system of professional education, public-private partnership, and increasing management efficiency in the sports sector are defined.
