Actual problems of electoral law

The article presents a study of the specifics of the implementation of such an institution of Russian law as electoral law. The article is devoted to the actual problems of improving the current electoral legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as some controversial issues of the electoral system of the Russian Federation. Modern Russian electoral legislation is a solid legal framework reflecting the technologies and the procedure for organizing and conducting elections (referendums), which is currently quite dynamic and voluminous. Russian electoral legislation basically fully details the electoral process itself, as well as a wide range of technologies used by subjects of electoral law during election campaigns. In addition, it also contains a number of different legal and other guarantees for the implementation of the aforementioned constitutional principles: universal, equal, direct suffrage by secret ballot, etc. The electoral legislation of the Russian Federation as a whole is analyzed.
